ole saw/strimmer/hedge trimmer set, and it seemed to be pretty well made and reliable. Anyway, this turned up and seemed to be well built, too. However, it refused to start. Now I'm not exactly a stranger to small 2-stroke motors, but this one defeated me for 4 days. Not even the tiniest splutter to indicate it wanted to run, so I contacted the seller to request a return. I got an almost immediate response, including a video (about which I was skeptical) and a request for a phone number and a convenient time for an engineer to call me if the video didn't help. OK, OK, it started almost immediately, so I feel a bit of a prat, but it almost doesn't need choke at all to start and floods as soon as you look at it. Anyway, 10 out of 10 for customer service.
The saw runs really well, and was getting easier and easier to start during the weekend as it started to get run in. Second tank of fuel, and it was running sweetly. (Note: the manual says 25:1 and the saw says 40:1 for fuel/oil, and I checked with Burrowmount to see which was correct - turns out the first tank or two at 25:1 is fine for running in, then back to 40:1). One last log to chop and we're done for the weekend - the recoil starter handle comes away in my hand. OK, so the knot probably came undone, so I took the cover off and no, the cord had been cut through (presumably by the spring) and the starter had sort of self destructed. Anyway, another email to Burrowmount and a very quick reply to say that they were escalating it to their engineers. Three days later and a complete new starter arrived in the post.
So what can we conclude? For the price, don't expect Stihl quality and reliability, but that goes without saying. Chinese QA still seems to be a bit of a lottery, but these guys have the back-up to make up for any quality issues in the products. The other kit from the same supplier is fine, and having sorted it out, I have no reason to think I should have any more problems with this one. Overall, a great set-up with absolutely superb back-up and customer service.

Great machine and fantastic customer service

that let me down I was a bit concerned about buying another one from the internet. How wrong I was this is a fantastic piece of equipment well built and with a amazing set of additions that I did not expect. Comes with a small toolkit which would be handy to anyone that has not got a tremendous amount of sockets in their shed. Came packaged well and the instruction booklet although not straight forward is easy to understand one you have looked through a couple of times. Took around 1 hour to fully assemble all the parts and double check all screws and bolts tight as most machine require that little look over to ensure nothing loose. Fuelled up the unit with 2 stroke oil as per the supplied bottle and attached the hedge trimmer without the extension. Primed the carburettor and pulled the recoil starter and it fired up on the second pull. I proceeded to cut our hedge which was around 3 meters tall and upon first use seemed fine. During use I found it started to run on a little so I rang the supplier up and spoke to a gentleman who was very informative and gave me a couple of suggestions to slow the machine down. Went back to the garden and started the unit up on the first pull with no effort at all, previous manufactures that I had to start after stopping took some time this one did not. I completed the task in hand with ease apart from the very top, as I did try with another extension but I think will need to build my arm muscles up as unable to hold steady. This is no reflection on the machine just me being a weakling. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and feel I have finally found something which does what it says. I was also informed any problems contact direct and they will either talk through if adjustments or if a warranty claim will send direct from their stores. I felt very assured by this company and would not hesitate to recommend this equipment. My only minor snag is the nuts fall out of the extension tubes when you release the locking knob.

to assemble and quite light on your back, there is a bit of vibration on your back but the noise level is lower than expected. Considering the blower is more powerful than my old hand held it isn't as powerful which is a bit strange. All in all not a bad product with hindsight I would buy the next model for more power.

lar products I settled on this one due to many more positive reviews than most of the alternatives which had comments re poor quality and cut fingers from sharp steel edges. This was a bit more expensive but it turns out well worth the extra cost. There are so many on the market, many are cheaper, glad I paid a little extra for the quality.Very well made, sheet steel well finished with no sharp edges, easy to build up (make sure you study the diagrams VERY closely, I gaffed a few times but on checking back it was because I hadn’t looked closely enough at the drawings).Looks great, decent heat (in strong winds/breezes like all patio heaters whatever the design it will struggle). Two points to note -firstly nothing in the instructions re fitting the battery (a quick note to and reply from the seller sorted, great customer service)Secondly make sure you get the right propane cylinder to fit the regulator supplied. I got the wrong one (standard Calor 13kg propane) when it should have been Calor Patio Gas. No fault of the supplier, just be aware. All in all well pleased with the product and service.

rting so took the opportunity to upgrade to a backpack type. Best thing I've done with regard to leaf blowing. All the weight is on your back (nice padding, quite comfortable) good straps and the weight is not all on the hand anymore. Also no vibration on the hand which is a big difference. Easy to control. Simple to put together, just took a few minutes.Probably the most important thing is that it starts first time. The only downside is that where the starter pully is, you can't start it on your back, has to be done before putting on.
