ole saw/strimmer/hedge trimmer set, and it seemed to be pretty well made and reliable. Anyway, this turned up and seemed to be well built, too. However, it refused to start. Now I'm not exactly a stranger to small 2-stroke motors, but this one defeated me for 4 days. Not even the tiniest splutter to indicate it wanted to run, so I contacted the seller to request a return. I got an almost immediate response, including a video (about which I was skeptical) and a request for a phone number and a convenient time for an engineer to call me if the video didn't help. OK, OK, it started almost immediately, so I feel a bit of a prat, but it almost doesn't need choke at all to start and floods as soon as you look at it. Anyway, 10 out of 10 for customer service.
The saw runs really well, and was getting easier and easier to start during the weekend as it started to get run in. Second tank of fuel, and it was running sweetly. (Note: the manual says 25:1 and the saw says 40:1 for fuel/oil, and I checked with Burrowmount to see which was correct - turns out the first tank or two at 25:1 is fine for running in, then back to 40:1). One last log to chop and we're done for the weekend - the recoil starter handle comes away in my hand. OK, so the knot probably came undone, so I took the cover off and no, the cord had been cut through (presumably by the spring) and the starter had sort of self destructed. Anyway, another email to Burrowmount and a very quick reply to say that they were escalating it to their engineers. Three days later and a complete new starter arrived in the post.
So what can we conclude? For the price, don't expect Stihl quality and reliability, but that goes without saying. Chinese QA still seems to be a bit of a lottery, but these guys have the back-up to make up for any quality issues in the products. The other kit from the same supplier is fine, and having sorted it out, I have no reason to think I should have any more problems with this one. Overall, a great set-up with absolutely superb back-up and customer service.

for my garden. Even thought the ground is full of stones, this didn't struggle. Amazing time saving tool, power engine, starts well, all the attachments work well. Box even includes small tool kit, googles, hear defenders and gloves!Highly recommend! My friends now want to borrow this for their fences as it made it so easy!

io. The real flame in the tubular insert and design of the tower is stunning. I do feel the heat output could be higher. I love it though! One part of the frame was damaged on arrival but customer service was excellent and the part was swiftly replaced.

ell made.Simply self assembly of the plastic hoses etc takes about 15 to 20 mins. All parts and acessories as advertised (safety googles gloves etc) were also supplied.I live in a rural area and I bought it primarily to clear debris and loose stones from my access lane on a periodic basis. I am delighted to say that the engine is strong enough to complete this task much more efficiently than compared to using a brush. It also does the job in a shorter timeframe. Perhaps the only slight complaint is that there is a noticeable vibration being transmitted through the back padding that becomes a little bit unconfortable after approximately 10 minutes of use. I countered this vibration by inserting a small cushion between my back and the padded shoulder support supplied with the machine. It's a little bit awkward but adequate. In my opinion, the machine is not robust enough for commercial day to day operations however, for the price paid for the machine (€151 in March '18) it is certaintly excellent value for money and more than adequate for ad hoc domestic use.

ructions are ok.Had an issue with the regulator not fitting my gas canister so I contacted the customer services who were very helpful and sorted me out - I cannot fault them at all.Used it for the past couple of nights for the first time, looks amazing and gives a nice light but really disappointed with the heat output - have to stand right next to it to get any warmth, even one step away you feel no difference.Really disappointed as the main reason for buying it was to enable us to sit outside longer at night and take the chill out of the air. It’s a very expensive night light and if I could I would send it back but it would be impossible to dismantle it and I’ve discarded the packaging. If anyone has had similar issues and rectified it some way - maybe we are doing something wrong - please advise?! Gas is on full.
