tle, safety glasses and ear protectors , tool kit and funnel, together with user manual. First impression was a smart looking piece of kit but I have to say it was a bit of a shock to feel the weight as my entire previous experience of a hedge trimmer has been a corded Black and Decker which I had for about 24 years but had just about reached the end of its useful life. Read through the instructions a couple of times ( still a bit confused er the choke positioning) , mixed and loaded fuel ( about a pint) and had a go at my first ever petrol engined trimmer. It fired on about the 3rd pull , started and after a few minutes warm up tried the throttle- wow this is a bit of a beast! Had a try at trimming a small bush , which went well , but a bit late in the day so switched off and left it till following day. Went the whole hog following day- side hedge, and 7 bushes of various sizes and species. Did it in several goes primarily not being used to the weight and power but finished result better than any of my previous trimming and overall was still faster than my old trimmer. Overall very pleased. Looks good and gives a good clean cut . Has plenty of power and in spite of it being quite heavy seems well balanced. So far has started well. If I have one niggle it's the ignition switch which seems very sensitive and I managed to inadvertently switch it off ( catching it with my glove) a couple of times but this may well be my inexperience. Seems good value and if it lasts as long as my previous electric one I will be well pleased. Mind you as I am over 70 it will probably outlast me!

w days early, excellent communication.Very well packaged, most parts had their own protective packaging.A little tricky to put together alone, so I would recommend a helping pair of hands at the latter stages.Very well made, all holes and fittings lined up perfectly. Very satisfying when you don't have to force screws and bolts in from different angles! The finished product is excellent, great value for money in my opinion. I have read several reviews that say they have had to order replacement quartz tube after their heater blew over in high winds and the glass smashed. I have used a black bungee cord which I wrap round the heater and tether it to my wall when not in use.Overall 5* all the way!!

is came with tool kit spares etc. This is powerful and be careful if you hit a root it will grab and spin as all these tools do, cut the root out and carries on.. it makes very light work of digging 800mm holes and will save you a small fortune on post fix keeping a clean tidy post hole.Customer services are one of the best I have ever dealt with! sorted a small issue immediately and send replacement for a delivery damaged item which I received next day,, Thanks guys!

with the unit, but was able to resolve them. A week or so after I got the unit, the grease nipple on the chainsaw unit broke (the threads stripped, so it might have been cross-threaded at assembly, not sure). About the same time, the metal plate which runs under the motor, to prevent it from being damaged by the ground when starting, broke. I contacted support and they sent me a new chainsaw unit + metal plate. A few months later, a piece flew off the strimmer head unit. As before, they sent me a new one. All of the replacement units they have sent me have been working fine. After a good 8 months with no issues, a few of the teeth on the hedge trimmer blades got broken. But as before, they are sending me new blades this week.A couple of other minor issues. One day the unit wouldn't start and I noticed one of the wiring connections had come unplugged, because of the way it was zip-tied (easy fix, just plugged it back in and zip-tied it differently). Recently I noticed the unit would die if I turned it on its side, but then noticed that the hose in the petrol tank, which sucks up the gas, had re-positioned itself such that when the unit was rotated, the end of the hose was no longer submerged in petrol (hence why it was dying). I used a screwdriver to push it back over to the other side of the tank, so when it is rotated it will still be submerged, and it has been fine.Knock on wood the motor itself has worked perfectly and as I said the replacement bits have all worked fine. I would rate it a 3 on function alone, but on the plus side, the post-sales support has been excellent, and they have never hesitated to send out replacement parts when I needed them (for free). So perhaps I have just been unlucky, as the replacement bits have all worked fine.Would I use it all day every day in a commercial capacity, no...but with the repaired bits, it has worked well and helped me to get control of a very large garden (half acre+) which was very overgrown and needed a ton of work.
