ng the straps to arrive at a carrying position which is both practical and comfortable is not easy. Similarly, finding the best position for the control trigger so that it is easy to use while still keeping the air nozzle in the optimum position. The instructions are fairly clear, but the illustrations are not very helpful. The machine starts easily and generates high-speed airflow. It comes with ear defenders, gloves and a toolkit and is well packaged.

Really lovely looking patio heater. Some reviews say it’s difficult to put together and has sharp edges. I disagree. If you take your time. Watch the video (I kept starting and stopping it at every stage) and refer to the instruction book if unsure and between them, you can’t go wrong. We found it extremely well made with no sharp edges. Took us a couple of hours but we were in no rush. Longest time was taking all of the blue protective plastic off.Couple of tips:Make sure you put the middle tray (that holds the ignition unit) on with the magnets facing the front (so opposite side to the wheels) this will give you access to the controls once it is built. If you put it on the wrong way, you will have to dismantle everything again to change it roundWhen you insert the glass tubes, the clips at the top go outside of the glass. An electric screwdriver will save time if you have one and a wide flat head screwdriver was useful for a few stubborn screwsNever move the heater when it is hot - the movement will cause the hot glass tube to shatter (tip from my gas bottle supplier who also sells these heaters)All in all a lovely addition to the garden and looks stunning especially at night.

Good value and looks good. Easy to ignite but only criticism is that instructions are not very clear and pictures/print are too small to make out where screws should go. Had to go into YouTube to Watch video as video which should have been included was missing. Took 2 people approximately 2 hours to build so if you are not good with self assembly you may struggle to put it together.

Good product though assembly is time-consuming

in the main though a couple of times we had to undo what was said to fit another part and then re-do the original. The screws are quite small and fiddly and the panelling needs to be shoved into place at times for the screw holes to match. You definitely need 2 people to assemble it all.The rubber ring on which the glass tubes sit was missing from the original packaging but the seller was very quick to respond (on a Sunday afternoon!) and the ring arrived by the following Saturday. The heat output is good, particularly for the upper body. The cover managed to blow off in the strong wind so we have since tied it with string in a couple of places.A good product in all, just be prepared for the assembly!

Some issues with the product but excellent post-sales support

with the unit, but was able to resolve them. A week or so after I got the unit, the grease nipple on the chainsaw unit broke (the threads stripped, so it might have been cross-threaded at assembly, not sure). About the same time, the metal plate which runs under the motor, to prevent it from being damaged by the ground when starting, broke. I contacted support and they sent me a new chainsaw unit + metal plate. A few months later, a piece flew off the strimmer head unit. As before, they sent me a new one. All of the replacement units they have sent me have been working fine. After a good 8 months with no issues, a few of the teeth on the hedge trimmer blades got broken. But as before, they are sending me new blades this week.A couple of other minor issues. One day the unit wouldn't start and I noticed one of the wiring connections had come unplugged, because of the way it was zip-tied (easy fix, just plugged it back in and zip-tied it differently). Recently I noticed the unit would die if I turned it on its side, but then noticed that the hose in the petrol tank, which sucks up the gas, had re-positioned itself such that when the unit was rotated, the end of the hose was no longer submerged in petrol (hence why it was dying). I used a screwdriver to push it back over to the other side of the tank, so when it is rotated it will still be submerged, and it has been fine.Knock on wood the motor itself has worked perfectly and as I said the replacement bits have all worked fine. I would rate it a 3 on function alone, but on the plus side, the post-sales support has been excellent, and they have never hesitated to send out replacement parts when I needed them (for free). So perhaps I have just been unlucky, as the replacement bits have all worked fine.Would I use it all day every day in a commercial capacity, no...but with the repaired bits, it has worked well and helped me to get control of a very large garden (half acre+) which was very overgrown and needed a ton of work.
