Have a BuKo chainsaw so knew what to expect. A quality product with lots of versatile features. Can be a little daunting to setup initially – but once you get the hang of it, you can easily swap between features.

Good value for the money ,its got a good reach ,but it is very heavy at full extent ,but it did what its supposed to do ,it saved me trying to reach of ladders which made it more safe to do the task ,but overall good for the money ,engine starts really easy .

I’ve had a few issues with the unit, but was able to resolve them. A week or so after I got the unit, the grease nipple on the chainsaw unit broke (the threads stripped, so it might have been cross-threaded at assembly, not sure). About the same time, the metal plate which runs under the motor, to prevent it from being damaged by the ground when starting, broke. I contacted support and they sent me a new chainsaw unit + metal plate. A few months later, a piece flew off the strimmer head unit. As before, they sent me a new one. All of the replacement units they have sent me have been working fine. After a good 8 months with no issues, a few of the teeth on the hedge trimmer blades got broken. But as before, they are sending me new blades this week.A couple of other minor issues. One day the unit wouldn’t start and I noticed one of the wiring connections had come unplugged, because of the way it was zip-tied (easy fix, just plugged it back in and zip-tied it differently). Recently I noticed the unit would die if I turned it on its side, but then noticed that the hose in the petrol tank, which sucks up the gas, had re-positioned itself such that when the unit was rotated, the end of the hose was no longer submerged in petrol (hence why it was dying). I used a screwdriver to push it back over to the other side of the tank, so when it is rotated it will still be submerged, and it has been fine.Knock on wood the motor itself has worked perfectly and as I said the replacement bits have all worked fine. I would rate it a 3 on function alone, but on the plus side, the post-sales support has been excellent, and they have never hesitated to send out replacement parts when I needed them (for free). So perhaps I have just been unlucky, as the replacement bits have all worked fine.Would I use it all day every day in a commercial capacity, no…but with the repaired bits, it has worked well and helped me to get control of a very large garden (half acre+) which was very overgrown and needed a ton of work.

Strimmer is excellent

On paper, sounds very good, and I saw a review which rated it highly. All the tools, plus two extension poles, so worth a try. However, you see many of these with identical hardware badged under different brands.First problem was the handle – it had a locating lug but there was no corresponding hole in the shaft to locate the handle into, and so the handle could not be fitted without drilling a hole in the shaft – I didn’t do it. So there is a picture of the shaft and the handle with the lug.Starting it up, the throttle sticks on high. The design of this is the same on all the other clone ones I saw, not very good. The label for choke operation was put on upside down, so choke would be off when you thought it was on.The plastic felt very cheap, and the accessories were very flimsy and lightweight.Good points were the splined shaft, and the fact the shaft ran in bearings, but were they good quality? It’s heavy, and after trying it for a few seconds on the hedge cutter, I drained all the fuel and asked for a refund.Sending it back was ok, a pre-paid label was issued, but dropping it in at a Post Office was a pain – it’s a big heavy box.Having said that, refund was smooth so I can’t complain about that. Most of it was made in PRC , but some bits had ‘Japan’ stamped on them. You pay your money and you take your choice, except P.R.C has eliminated most of the competition.

It’s an ice tool for gardening but heavy enough to hold it for long time as well as very noisy
autocratic –
Easy to assemble, works well as a hedge trimmer but not easy to handle with the extension fitted, too bulky for a high hedge.
Derek O’ Connell –
Great tool, a few issues even 8 months after purchase and resolved with spare parts from seller.

Firstly great product and first class after sales, After six months a part became faulty, Within 2 two hours of contacting the company a full reply come and within 48hours a replacement part delivered. The product and after sales are second to none and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the product.

Bought this as an upgrade and didn’t have the money for a stilh.Had it about 18 months on my third pull cord as spring keeps coming off its plastic mounting as this wears. Uses more fuel than gives power for in my mind and very noisy.Wouldn’t buy again.

Moved into a new house in June and have taken over a much larger garden than before approx 3/4 acre. Garden has not been touched for a while and the grass thistles and all else were 4 to 5ft high. Started with the grass strimmer then moved onto the 40 tooth wheel this little machine has chewed through it all with no problems. I usually try to keep to one tank full of fuel each daily session but i cannot fault it at all. I have not tried the chain saw yet and have to master the skill of the trimmer. Its taken me just over a month to bring the gardens to manageable. I could not have done it with anything else. Easy to put together starts every time after priming and first pull when warm. Only niggle has been a couple of clips breaking on the harness.Would recommend this to anyone.

This was far better than my expectations. Comes with everything you need including a small tool kit fuel mixing bottle and funnel. Slight issue with the handle screws but easily resolved. Started first time following the instructions, I bought the extra extensions poles and when all used it can be difficult to move but that is expected. I would highly recommend this product for ease of use, value for money but also really good quality.
Chris Morgan –
Excellent product I was impressed with the quality for the price. Having a large garden with trees and hedges etc I found the extension pole a great addition and although it was heavier the harness really helped in coping with the extra weight. Perfect tool for the jobs I need it for would definately recommend
Simon Charman –
Excellent quality products at competitive prices, very impressed!
Mr MJ –
Good solid product with good versatility. Good powerful attachments. Had an issue with a screw on the chainsaw part and customer service team responded very well by sending a whole new chainsaw attachment rather than just the screw….superb!
craig thompson –
1st impressions well made and sturdy not used yet so limited review would have expected it to have come with grease nipple points factory filled though had a long run round getting a greasegun other than that no probs as yet if it works as good as it looks will be well happy for price, will update after use

Used it once with 2 extension poles. Had difficulty dismantling it as the housings of the tubes got too tight. Managed to get the poles off and tried to put another new pole in, but couldn’t.On reading the above feedback, someone contacted immediately and wanted to know the exact issue and offered their full support.I explained the issue and they wanted to know which parts needed replacing. I sent them the list of parts and they were posted 1st class, including 2 new replacement chains for the chainsaw, which arrived yesterday.A perfect communication and customer service which proves that they stand behind their products and promises.

Easy to assemble with good instructions and prompt delivery(received 7th expected delivery was 10th).I have used the hedge cutter with the extension pole which I found to work well and easy to use.
Adrian Powell –
A great value for money product. Easy to assemble and started on the second pull.
Colin cool –
I’ve not used the chainsaw yet but have the rest and wow very powerful, if it last about 3 year its good value for money
Ciarán Casey –
This was really desperate. It took ages to assemble, it’s really heavy and unergonomic and it keeps breaking on me. The first time the seller took ages to respond and only did once I went to PayPal. A year in it’s broken beyond all use and they’re just fobbing me off. They’re not even cheap- I should have got an Einhell battery strimmer from the start
Richard Hope –
Very good product, easy assembled.

Packageing, instructions and delivery all good. Weight of engine is about 5kg and NOT 1.8kg as stated on Amazon

After purchasing 2 other named brands that let me down I was a bit concerned about buying another one from the internet. How wrong I was this is a fantastic piece of equipment well built and with a amazing set of additions that I did not expect. Comes with a small toolkit which would be handy to anyone that has not got a tremendous amount of sockets in their shed. Came packaged well and the instruction booklet although not straight forward is easy to understand one you have looked through a couple of times. Took around 1 hour to fully assemble all the parts and double check all screws and bolts tight as most machine require that little look over to ensure nothing loose. Fuelled up the unit with 2 stroke oil as per the supplied bottle and attached the hedge trimmer without the extension. Primed the carburettor and pulled the recoil starter and it fired up on the second pull. I proceeded to cut our hedge which was around 3 meters tall and upon first use seemed fine. During use I found it started to run on a little so I rang the supplier up and spoke to a gentleman who was very informative and gave me a couple of suggestions to slow the machine down. Went back to the garden and started the unit up on the first pull with no effort at all, previous manufactures that I had to start after stopping took some time this one did not. I completed the task in hand with ease apart from the very top, as I did try with another extension but I think will need to build my arm muscles up as unable to hold steady. This is no reflection on the machine just me being a weakling. Overall very satisfied with my purchase and feel I have finally found something which does what it says. I was also informed any problems contact direct and they will either talk through if adjustments or if a warranty claim will send direct from their stores. I felt very assured by this company and would not hesitate to recommend this equipment. My only minor snag is the nuts fall out of the extension tubes when you release the locking knob.
Michael John Finch –
It definitely does what it says on the can! Delivered, out if the box and away it went!! Had a different make previously and it was irratic when it came to starting. From cold bit if choke and it fired up. As mentioned in other reviews, be nice if there was a holdall to use with it but still looking.

I purchased a BU-KO 2019 52cc Long Reach Petrol Multi-Functional Garden Tool from Burrowmount just under a year ago and have been delighted with its versatility and it has made life much easier in keeping the garden neat and tidy.Recently though I had a problem with the carburettor and contacted them. The after sales service (which from a review I read before purchase and made me choose Burrowment to buy it) was simply excellent.A quick personal email response resulted in a follow -up from a technician who immediately offered to arrange the return for its repair. The administration department took over and within 48 hours a courier was at my home with a pre-paid label to be applied to my Multi-Functional Garden Tool to go back. Ten days later it was returned and working well again.Burrowmount are a small family business which prides themselves in their customer service. No matter how good a product, problems can always happen so even more knowing there is a superb after sales service available is really important. If I could give them more than five stars I would.
SBW –
So the product looks well made and heavy duty, you get a lot of spares including a spare spark plug and H & S kit. Takes a while to put together and is very heavy. I bought the long reach version and tested it with all 3 extensions and it was far too heavy to use with all 3, and that was using it with the harness. Then tried it with 2 extensions and although it was still very heavy it was just about usable if you have it balanced and adjusted correctly. The extensions are very tight and stiff, even after lubrication and the pinch bolt nuts fall out every time you dismantle the extensions, if you where doing this on grass you would never find the nuts again. The engine started ok but needed a small amount of choke to keep it running even when warmed up.Good value for the money but unless you have good strength you will fine it hard to manoeuvre especially when using the extensions.

Part not fitting initially, contacted them and two days later new part arrives by post, that is spot on amongst a minefield of bad suppliers, it’s a breath of fresh air.Tried out the chainsaw with high branches 2-3″ diameter no problem, (need a hard hat and goggles) not tried other accessories but can’t see any problem on top of all that starts first pull. One of the best gardening tools ever bought, hats off to Bu-KO. No hesitation in buying anything else from them as the product and service is second to none.

powerful engine which starts well. ensure correctly assembled to avoid damage to the machine and injury to oneself or bystanders. requires additional grease and chainsaw oil.
nicola mullins –
Brought this to reduce a large hedge in long garden, it did job beautifully. It was very easy to assemble, not too heavy, for reference I am 58 and not big and strong! – hedge cutter does not go through anything above about 15mm but if I needed I just used the chain saw attachment. Starts first time every time, changing heads can be fiddly in that the internal rod sometimes stays in and you have to pull that separately but not a big problem. Only have this 4 days but so far very good machine. Excellent service from Burrowmount, plastic cover for chain saw came loose and got chained! they sent a replacement straight away.

I bought this when I set my garden business up 5/6 years ago. Its outlast a few other machines. Good on fuel. Plenty of attachments. Only just packed in this year. 2022. And I didnt treat it very well.Extention poles / Reach for hedge cutter is great, if your not strong it will be hard to handle at full length. The power of the Bu-ko, ive had 2 different makes just this year none have matched the Bu-ko in the slightest for power. Also just realised how little vibration / feedback you get of the bu-ko as well, compared to others I have.Bad side of it is, the plastic casings / handle , button are cheap and not great. Also the goggles, earmuffs are nasty. After a while the ruber feeders / supports inside the poles that fix the metal rotating bar in place, start to move or twist making it hard to fix them onto the machine / putting other extention poles together.Would I buy again, yes in hindsight. For price its great. Just would be nice if they matched the quality of the engine power with better fixings, casings, plastics etc.Ferrari engine, fiat panda shell.

Very powerful tool, used in my large allotment. Very impressed with the service from the vendor. I managed to lose a component while changing the reel and they are sending me a free replacement part.

Excellent multi-tool. Ideal for trimming small garden-size trees. Although becomes rather heavy & unwieldy with all the extension poles attached.
